Returns, Exchanges & Live Goods Policy

Flora Cantina specializes in living plants, biological materials, and glass-based growing systems. Because these products are inherently variable and sensitive to handling and environment, our policies are designed to protect plant health, ensure fairness, and reflect biological reality. Please read carefully before purchasing.

Live Plants

All live plants are final sale.

We do not offer returns or exchanges on live plants once they leave our care. This policy exists to prevent unnecessary stress, contamination risk, and irreversible biological decline.

Plants are sold as living specimens at a specific growth stage, not as guaranteed future outcomes.

Condition on Arrival (DOA Claims)

If a plant arrives clearly dead on arrival (DOA), you may submit a claim within 48 hours of delivery.

To be eligible for review:

  • Clear photos of the plant and original packaging are required
  • The plant must remain unmodified (no repotting, trimming, or treatment)
  • Claims submitted after 48 hours cannot be reviewed

If approved, resolution may include:

  • A replacement (if available), or
  • Store credit at our discretion

Refunds are not guaranteed.

Post-Delivery Care Responsibility

Once a plant is delivered or picked up:

  • Ongoing care and environmental compatibility are the responsibility of the customer
  • Decline caused by lighting, watering, humidity, temperature, substrate choice, or system mismatch is not covered
  • We do not guarantee long-term performance beyond arrival condition

Educational resources are provided for guidance—not guarantees.

Substrates & Biological Components

Substrate components, blends, and living inputs:

  • Are final sale once opened
  • Are sold as materials, not as performance assurances

Improper use, mixing, or application is outside our responsibility.

Glass Grow Systems & Hard Goods

Glass vessels and grow systems are inspected prior to shipment.

If an item arrives damaged in transit:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos of the item and packaging

Approved claims may result in a replacement or store credit.

Damage occurring after delivery or due to misuse is not covered.

Local Pickup Orders

Items collected via local pickup are considered accepted in full at handoff.

We encourage inspection before leaving.

Order Accuracy

If you receive an incorrect item due to a fulfillment error, notify us within 48 hours so we can correct the issue.
